[Voice/Video] [16th Song] Outbreak!
[Action; A]
[Father's been back and forth about the Otherhouse and where-ever else he's needed, caring to mutated children, trying not to be sick and trying not to show that he's ill to anyone. The children come will always come first to him, but he's at that point where he can't physically stand up properly anymore.
After the destruction of one of the two bathrooms and the other one being used for quick visits of toilet abuse, he's got a new, sad instinct at the idea that he can't take a bath. Something's telling him that he needs to find a body of water to relax in! And- wait- then he realizes that there is another...
Residents of the Otherhouse and those just passing by, feel free to find the mutated Other Father with his trousers rolled up and his webbed feet soaking in the front-garden pond. He really doesn't look so good, but he's putting on a smile as usual.]
[Action; B]
He felt bad not taking the Pokémon for a walk, ill or not. They're like the family pets or another set of kids, so he has to pay attention to them. Once feeling relaxed and better, with the kids are out of the house for whatever reason (which at the moment, seems to be to buy new Pokégears), he buckles up his party and heads on out.
Making his way to the outskirts of Goldenrod as usual, it's not long before they encounter a Pokémon. And then another one. And another. A mixture of Growlithe, Snubble and Mareep begin to growl, obviously agitated at the presence of the Other Father. His own Pokémon begin to get defensive, alarmed at the behavior, eager to let out warning that you do not touch this man.
A stare-off takes place until the Mareep cries, a shock of electric hits the Other Father in the arm and he tries to muffle a cry of pain; so sharp, but he felt everything. Falling to his knees he, he can only watch as his own 'mons jump forward and begin to attack the oncoming Pokémon, blocking them from their trainer.
It's not until a single Drowzee walks forward and begins to make noises, staring at Father with a look in his eyes that's just so mesmerizing... the Pokémon fail to protect him, not noticing the subtle attack. He begins to feel tired and the world begins to fade away as he falls entirely to the floor, eyes closing. The last image he sees is Snapdragon stepping in front of him, glowing brightly and changing shape. Nothing else quite registers as he falls unconscious.
((ooc; So Father's asleep somewhere in the long grass of Goldenrod; his Pokémon are protecting him for the moment, but if someone else wants to come and help then they're free to.
If not, Bobby the Blastoise will be carrying him back home and away from the wild.))
[Voice/Action; C]
[A few attacks managed to hit him in the miniature battle of Route 34, some bruising on his face that he doesn't want the world to see.
He's trying to be as chirpy as usual, but he's struggling.]
Might be best that everyone stays away from the wilderness; the Pokémon are attacking trainers.
Here's to hopin' we all get better soon.
[And the short feed ends.
If anyone's in the house, father's in his room, lying down. He wants to get up, but he's used all his energy in the last two days.
Sometimes, he really misses living off of the Other Mother's power. He never had to worry about any of this, and he's sure-as-rain not used to it.]

Action B
But as he gets closer, he notices a man laying down in the grass too.]
Ah! ...Hello?
no subject
A large Dragonite looks up from him and to the newcomer, unleashing a soft cry as if it were beckoning for help. The weak Gloom looks upon the boy with an angry expression, but is soon calmed down by the Blastoise that had met Luke back in the floods.
Other Father's sprawled out on his back, obviously having been moved by one of the Pokémon. He's got bruises on his face and elsewhere on his body, the Drowzee having obviously hit him a few times before Bobby had picked up on his troubles and come to help.]

[Luke's talked to Other Father a couple of times before, enough to recognize him in the grass. His first instinct would be to take him to a Pokecenter, but since they were destroyed...
He glance back at the other Pokemon.]
Where does he live? Can one of you carry him?
no subject
The Blastoise then walks over to the low-health Audino, the Vileplume placing him on Bobby's back. The Ditto's already on Vileplume and the Gloom has enough energy to walk. Luckily this is the team that Father usually has with him and thus they've learnt how to work together on things.
Blueberry the Oddish runs forward in front of Luke, trying to speak to him. this way!
[Other Father is still asleep] Maybe he'll wake up next turn?]

Almost 2 months later and one hiatus later!
Re: Almost 2 months later and one hiatus later!
[Action: A]
[It wasn't hard to find the Other Father and when Jack noticed how wilted he looked, he cringed. The ex-skeleton coughed into his fist to let him know he was there.]
I was in the neighborhood and thought I'd drop by and see how everyone was doing. Long day?
Re: [Action: A]
He put on a smile as soon as he heard the cough, his head turning to look towards the newcomer.]
Sparks've been flyin'. Bathroom's destroyed. Everyone's alright.
[He's trying to sound jolly, but his speech is slower and he can't quite form full sentences without causing a throbbing feeling in his head.]
no subject
I heard about that. I met John in town. He seemed alright if not sort of...static-y.
[ :I He's trying not to say anything about Father's fishy features...and Vicent Price is it HARD.]

And water's weak to electric. [Oh he's fine with it.]

Action C
And at least it's inside. Despite the fact that the house is too warm, it's better than out in the blazing sun.
Leaving the handmade freezer, she heads down the hall and finds his door, giving it a knock. If he's not in here, she'll check the den next.]]
F-f-ffather?
no subject
He's done well but he can't cover the medium-sized bruise on his cheek.]
C'mon in.
[With enough rest he's managed to get rid of the horrible throbbing headache that permitted him from doing anything too complex, but there's still weakness hidden behind that jolly voice.]
no subject
A-are you al-alr-right f-father?
[[Walking in, she keeps her distance. Being in the room will probably cool it enough on its own without her standing two feet away from him or something.]]
no subject
Just got in some trouble with some Pokémon. Try and stay away from 'em?
[He pats the bed, asking her to sit. He doesn't mind the cold, as long as she's comfy.]

acshun; a
[When his Other Father comes out to sip his feet in the pond, he of course heads directly over, sitting down next to the older man. Today he is prepared for communication, and holds up a notebook.]
feeling better today?
[His handwriting's a little sloppier than normal since he still can't keep his hands from shaking sometimes, but this is a far better alternative than texting or trying to talk.]
asdfghjkl;
Seeing John, he puts on a smile at the writing ordeal.]
Yep.
[His speech is slower and although he's trying to sound like his happy old self, he sounds more weak. He's having trouble speaking in long sentances or doing anything complex, a horrible throbbing in his head rendering him a little more useless. He can't be inside any longer though; the water was calling him.]
More important is you?
THO MUCH ACTHUUUNNNN :P
been better.
you sure though? you don't sound so good. :(
[He doesn't quite realize the ridiculousness of drawing a sad face when OF can clearly see his face. Or maybe he's just that sad. Well, worried, more accurately.]
why john why are you such a cute mutant
[He knows exactly how scary some flowers can be! But he's sure certain they aren't the same here.]
Nothin' to worry about, John. Just needed some water.
[He's not sure whether to smile at the sad face, but decides not to when he realizes that it's the same as John's.]
because he's john.

[Even if he's glad that he can stick close to Carmen and Cooper in Ecruteak, Hiccup wishes at that moment that he could give Other Father a hug. Though it's probably best that he didn't, what with their respective elements.]
Are you d-doing okay-y, though?
[audio]
[He can hear that Hiccup doesn't sound so good. He's worried now.]
More importantly, are you okay?
[audio]
I-I-I'm coping. I've g-got Carmen a-and-d Agent C-Cooper around, if-f-f I n-need help.
[Not that he really gets what an Agent is anyway, but that's what Coop was and it sounded important. Might put Father at ease.]
Y-you've got people s-staying w-with you, r-right-t?
[audio]
And Agent does sound important...]
Some of my other children are here. Lookin' after 'em until they get better. [He wishes you were here. It's one more to look after, but he'd feel better for it.]

[Envy doesn't sound concerned about this so much as considering. Might be an interesting way to test out the powers he's gotten, if he can rig it so he doesn't get hurt himself...although...]
Did they go after you?
[Audio]
[Audio]
Yours were around to help, right?
[Because he can't just go and ask 'are you okay' directly. He's finding he doesn't particularly like the idea of Other Father getting attacked.]

[Video, because Rinoa tends to default to video at all times.]
[Sure, she's only recently met this Other Father, but after everything he's said Rinoa can't help but feel like she should look out for him. Which is probably backwards, since he's the parental figure, but that's not the point.]
How are you holding up? I know things have been weird lately.
[It's not been so bad for her, aqua highlights in her hair, turquoise freckles, and the odd bubble hiccup are about the worst of it.]
[Voice] Usually he would default video, but with circumstances...
You're more important though... [He's noticed the hair and freckles; he's worried you've got it bad too.
Surprisingly, he's just a level 2. Problem is, he's worn himself out so much and then gotten attacked. Poor guy.]
